After almost 6 months work dismantling, cleaning and repairing, this feels like a big step. When the chassis's were produced, the quality fo the job depended who was on the tools on that particular day. Being a farm vehicle produced in the 1960's there was no concept of quality control like we have today. This has meant many hours re-welding and cleaning up all of the dags that were left in the factory. The result I think it better than the day it left the factory. I decided to paint the chassis with raptor, which is not original, but I think that it will better preserve the chassis as well as add some sound proofing qualities. I am pretty happy with the end result.
