The Adventure begins

The Series Land Rover, in my opinion the most iconic overland vehicle ever produced. I purchased this 1965 Series 2A from a farm in the Norther Hunter Valley region. It had been sitting in a shed for 10+ years, the owner bought it from a mate because he like the look of it. He had never had it running but he was unsure of its history.

It seems to be a well loved car, the panels are straight, the suspension has not sagged, the engine turns over and there is minimal rust in the chassis and bulkhead. I need to get it back to the workshop and take a closer look.
